Horrible person aside, I watched both songs on SNL and thought he was an awful singer.

I wasn't surprised that his music was bad, I'm just surprised at how many people tried to convince me it wasn't. After seeing soooo many posts last year about how great he is, I expected a lot more than early 2000s bro-country. Yet the same people who openly detest that stuff were the ones telling me to check him out?

Saw something today where someone mentioned they've seen more public apologies from him than they've heard songs and I represent that comment
