i literally only NOW discovered reddits boosting it up

It's going to come crashing down hard. I'm trying to buy a house soon so no risky investments for me haha. There's no way I'd buy shares at $148 and I can't day trade.

@duke86fan its not really reddit though...it's quite a bit more complicated than that. GME traded over 98 million shares yesterday before noon. There's NO way redditors traded anywhere near that amount.

@MikeH i was hearing that it was mostly because of r/wallstreetbets betting hard on it and buying so many shares.. and elon musk liking the meme making it bump even HARDER

@duke86fan yea wallstreetbets brought some attention to it but the issue is now all the short sellers have doubled down because they need the stock to drop dramatically by the end of the week or some very rich people are going to be VERY angry. the redditors memeing it are a very small subsection of who is actually investing and pumping the stock.

it is truly fascinating to watch though. it's very possible that a hedge fund that had over $13 billion in assets goes completely bankrupt by the end of the week. good. fuck em.
