Chairlift’s Something! I guess I’m late on learning about this band but I absolutely love Pang and since I learned about this album just yesterday I’ve listened to it 5 times front to back and fell asleep to it last night. Very rarely do I listen to an album the first time and instantly recognize it as special.
My self control has gone out the window. When I first joined the old forum I thought paying $40 for a record was a lot. I’ve spent $100+ on a record more than once this year . I almost paid close to $400 for one but it sold before I pulled the trigger. “A fool and his money are soon parted.” That’s me. I am the fool.
But it’s only $ @dirty hands ....I’ve spent close to that on a few Radiohead albums but f it...it’s all about selling a few non permanent collection album and buying a forever piece to me
@dirty hands I hear ya! I’ve only spent more than $100 on one album this year and it was a test press (3 feet high). The only other album I’ve paid more for is The Stevie Ray Vaughn Mofi one-step for $85 but that was more of a “can’t say no to that price” purchase. HOWEVER, I have acted with wreckless abandonment with preorders and I need to cut it out!
