Most often if the box is a slipcase I leave em in and if it’s a box with a pull off lid I will pull the LPs out.

I keep and store the empty boxes together and file the LPs within my larger collection.

In seems most logical. But its also a pain to get them out when you want to listen to them. I feel like they stand a better chance of spins if they're easily accessible.

@dbarila ngl, i had the same situation as you with the RTJ box, so i understand how you feel. it's a bit annoying pulling out the entire box set just for one album, but eh i still say put all of them in the box set.

Just an FYI, the box set that got me thinking is the Bright Eyes Studio Albums box set. It's also nice tip on sleeves too.

@dbarila Studio albums out of the box. Unless you plan to spin every album when you open the box

I keep them in the box, and have all the box sets out beside my shelves rather than on the shelves. Also I have that Bright Eyes box and highly recommend it. It’s fantastic

In the box. I mean, it's a box set for Chrissakes. Getting out the box and digging in is part of the special vinyl experience we're all assumedly here for.
