I've put in offers for half of the listed price before and had them accepted, so I guess it just depends on the person and whether or not the item is actually worth what they're asking or not lol

I can definitely relate to how that guy feels (I think on average people ask way too much for records they're selling, including in this forum), but yeah I don't see the point of DM'ing someone about that. Bad negotiating skills!

It’s moments like these where I despise email communication because it gives me no opportunity to practice my Dwayne Johnson voice and interrupt them with a “It doesn’t MATTER what you think!”

it was the whiney entitlement in his response that I didn’t like. He asked for a discount I told him how much I’d take off (€10) and he wasn’t happy I didn’t come down more the whiney sod. It is worth more than that to me in my collection. Also I have my listed items set as not open to offer.

Unless you set the "make an offer" option, I feel like a buyer should just accept the price. Pay up or don't buy it.

Joe I'll trade you this half eaten sandwich for all of your records. What! that's not a fair trade! You sir need to respect the value of this sandwich.

Throw in a beer and I might be tempted...

But it’s not fair that you won’t accept Budweiser! It’s all I can afford and nobody else asks me to give them beer!
