One of the greatest games of all time, childhood Bliss is kicking himself for thinking Sunshine was shit back then as Sunshine could even be greater than 64, so much fun getting to relive these classics :)

As someone who really only put time into the later Mario games, and adored Odyssey, 64 is...fine. It's extremely impressive as a product of its time, but aspects of the game design, controls, and camera are pretty painful if you're not already harboring a nostalgic familiarity.

I truly admire what Nintendo accomplished with the game, but it is not as ageless as the earlier 2D Marios.

Galaxy, on the other hand...

My daughter would have some strongly worded opinions about this status...

@kvetcha I do respect it for the time but even back then I didnt like it lol. Banjo was the game that I wish mario 64 was lol. That being said I enjoy sunshine alot and galaxy and odyssey are masterpieces

I never really cared for 64. All my friends at the time loved it but there were always some levels that I just couldn't beat.

I got 3D All Stars for Sunshine and Galaxy since I've never played either, but all I've been able to do is bathe in the Mario 64 nostalgia

I'm in the same never played Sunshine and Galaxy boat as I had moved on from Nintendo after the 64 so I'm really looking forward to playing both. For now I'm enjoying the hell out of Mario 64!
