Losing a best friend is the absolute worst and I’m so sorry. They really do make a positive impact on our souls until we take our own last breath.

After losing our first couple of pets, we found the best thing for us was get right back on the horse. It was healing and we helped another animal - all of out pets have come from the pound, a rescue, humane society, etc. I'll bet there's another animal out there that needs you just as much as you need them.
