My sports card hobby is going insane too, like cards I bought for under $2 in late 2019 are now going for over $200 consistently. I think many collectors have problems with self control. Combine that with boredom and access to cash and you’re in this situation.

@Tys1 interesting. I have SO many sports cards from the 90s growing up at my parents' house. Maybe I'll grab them next time I'm home...Where do you price/sell them? I remember looking through those old paperback pricing guides when I was a kid haha. We had a baseball card shop at the bottom of my road called Shoeless Joe's. Used to buy a pack of cards every weekend.

@MikeH chances are good-great that if they’re from the 90’s boom that they’re not worth much but you should definitely filter through a few and compare the prices on COMC.com.

If I could draw a comparison the 90’s would be how you can still find used Billy Joel albums for $1 even though the dude was a complete powerhouse because the purpose at the time was just to sell as many records as possible.

I know I have a full box dedicated all to Jordan, I should prob sell them now since demand is an all time high
