Have to admit I'm a complete novice when it comes to the Beatles and Yoko (although I did once see her 'perform/scream' on a tiny island in Iceland). Everything I have read about her is unfortunately very negative such as refusing to give letters to Lennon's son from his father (which he had to bid on in order to have them).

And to counter that having just googled her it seems like she has donated a ton to charity and good causes. Looks like im going on a wikipedia binge now....

Yoko hate is tired, lazy, and most of all, wrong. Men (and it always is men) who still feel the need to rag on her in 2020 are embarrassing themselves.

I shall not sully the PIF thread. But Yoko haters, just know, we are watching you!

I like her, and I thought the video was funny, not too mean.

It’s like someone plays double fantasy and every time it’s an opportunity to shit on Yoko. I don’t like John Lennon, do I take every opportunity to shit on him? No.

What dudes think is completely awful and they think has no merit and whatever bs they feel, is revelatory and life changing to me. She is an artist in all of the realms.

If it isn’t for you, I don’t need to read about it every bleeding time a John and Yoko record is played.

I think people feel the need to blame someone for the fact that John Lennon stopped writing lots of very good songs after he left The Beatles. But then so did Paul . Maybe we should blame the two of them for falling out instead? Not so keen on Yoko personally but she doesn’t deserve the shit she gets.

The Beatles really suffered when Paul died.

If anyone can point me to some low-priced Yoko albums, I am missing few. Fly, Approximately Infinite Universe, some of the older ones also.

I cant believe people still blame her for the Beatles split. There was so much drama and in fighting between the four of them towards the end that all has nothing to do with Yoko. I may not enjoy her music but I absolutely wont say a thing against her as a person
