I remember going to the theater and being very disappointed though I will say by the time the third movie was released I was 11 years-old and more into sports than TMNT at this point. I don’t know if I have seen it since though.

I want to see this so bad but I refuse to drive to Seattle to see a movie. We have an Art House theater here but it’s only showing at the SIFF theater in Seattle. Looks like it will be up streaming on April 14 so I may just wait for that at this point.

I’m rewatching Rushmore tonight; holy moly it’s been a while but this thing is seared in my brain. I get that increased budgets and creative control changed this, but Wes Anderson’s early movies, Rushmore especially, show a lot of recognizable contemporaneous reality leaking in, and I miss that. It’s bit more gonzo.
