Record Store Day 2024

With my wife out of state for work and me not wanting to leave the kids home alone I don’t think I’ll be able to make it. If anyone is able to grab these for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I hope these three get enough pressings so it won't be too difficult to get them the following Sunday or later.

I'm trying to decide on going Saturday or not. Here in Norman Oklahoma at the record store I like to visit they are having Matt Pryor of the Get Up Kids perform an acoustic set in store that afternoon. That's pretty cool actually. Hmm...

Think Plaidroom Records has the Spidey in stock. Check their RSD page. Wanna say I saw it. Though it might not last until Sunday morning's online drop.

That's what I gathered based upon one of my local's posts.

 
my biggest want, david sylvian and nine horses’ “snow borne sorrow”, is unfortunately UK only. haven’t seen it show up in the inventories of any of the shops i know that get import RSD product, so i may have to bite my lip and pay for international shipping.

not planning on going out this year. a little worried i might miss acetone, but my other big want is the verlaines “way out where” which, with a limited pressing of 900 copies, should have about 950 copies available below MSRP this time next year.

Not anticipating I'll have better luck thank you, but can keep my eyes peeled at a few of my go-to shops for the Sylvian.

I don't have a car so won't be able to make it to my favorite local without a very expensive Uber, so gonna brave one of the Bull Moose locations tomorrow morning in the hopes I get Evans. Would arriving at 7-ish for an 8am opening probably be good enough?
