The March 2024 Challenge Thread: There Is No Dark Side Of The Moon

March 17 - The root of all evil today.

I think the root of all evil today is how reality TV and social media were left to run roughshod over society for so long they essentially made hate and boorish behavior a favorable fashion. It's become so accepted our daily way of life has been compromised. We gotta get back to some common decency.

Historically, the root of all evil has always been considered money. And ultimately, they're all not far apart...

Cash machine...

March 17 - The root of all evil today...lurks in The Fog

Maybe it's a stretch, but I've stowed away everything except soundtracks, classical, Waits, Stones, Radiohead, Zeppelin and A through half of B. I'll probably have to unhook and stow the turntable by Thursday though...

Miles Davis - Live-Evil

The root of all evil today is sinks… this morning I changed the faucets and drains in our bathrooms. This evening as I finished dinner, the kitchen sink was full on plugged. So I just finished unplugging and putting the drain back together/cleaning the kitchen top to bottom.

Now I’m sitting back for a bit to this view:

March 18 - Us And Them

Going with the Stones vs Beatles thing, and Us and Them/Black and Blue angle.
I'm down to just a few artists that I haven't stowed yet. I can't bring myself to unhook to TT yet though, but by Saturday it will have to be.
Painting is Sunday and Monday, flooring isn't until the following Friday, so I'll be down at least a week.

Day 18: Us and Them

Us and Them” was the 2nd single released from DSotM after “Money” and while the latter reached the Hot 100 top 15, the former didn’t get past the top of the Bubbling Under chart. Here’s another classic ‘70s track that didn’t make it past Bubbling Under:

Al Green - “Love and Happiness

Granted, dropping it on a 45 nearly 5 years after the I’m Still in Love With You album first came out probably didn’t help it…
