IMO it's up there with Shape Of Jazz To Come in terms of avant jazz. Not everything avant does it for me, but this is truly one of the great ones.

For those that don't know, Roger is one of the musical geniuses behind Jellyfish. He's also worked with Beck since the mid to late 90's.

I have an autographed copy of this one on vinyl. It's so good.

Just for fun, I had to look.

There are 22 different vinyl versions of this record that was released 3 months ago.

The best part, though, was in the description...

"Chronicles Of A Diamond arrives as the fullest expression yet of their frenetic creativity..."

I wouldn't exactly define your first album in 4 years as frenetic creativity. The Beatles - that was some frenetic creativity.

Please note - I like this band's music. I just don't get the marketing that assumes we're all idiots.

Yeah, Amazon discontinued their widget earlier this year.

The next update to the media embed plugin should remove support for Amazon embeds and Amazon links should render as standard links rather than widgets with price and what not.
