Just picked up a fire splatter Soul of Cash. The smoke version from last year was the first release after I had heard about this club... And I missed it. Glad I caught this one!

I had a quick (about 24-hour) work trip this week and took the opportunity of three pretty short flights to read Silver in the Wood by Emily Tesh. It's a short one, about 100 pages, but I loved it. Cover art is wicked, too. Hope to see more from Tesh soon!

Before I got that roller, at least 80% of the time there was something horribly wrong with any fresh pasta I would make. The roller is really forgiving and will do a lot of the hard work for you... I would never have even attempted on a week night before I got it

Made some pasta tonight. I love the process of working the dough and rolling it out. But I always seem to forget that fresh pasta cooks in about 2 seconds... Final product was good, just a little overcooked.
