Very true. The big game changer in my recent upgrade cycle has been the Darlington Labs MP7B Phono Pre. It raised the bar for my old Project EVO and the Ultradeck. My vinyl never sounded so good.

That’s a great deal. I love my Ultradeck, but wish I waited a few more months to purchase. Could have saved $500.

I don’t think it’s necessarily people ‘on the right’. I think it’s more people of a certain age that still have land lines and that demographic tends to skew more Republican.

I’ve used the Zen Phono in my system and think it’s very good. I’ve also had a good experience with the Project Phono Box S2 and give it a strong recommendation in the sub $300 range.

Government salaries aren’t great in certain parts of the country.

I tend to get a lot of hum if i use an RCA cable without a ground wire from the TT to the Phono stage.
