Roon will reindex your files if you move them around. I would move all the files onto a single drive and then have another drive for backup bs spreading them out over multiple drives.
I picked up a BHK last year during the PS Audio closeout sale. I’ve been very pleased with it. Still using the stock Psvane Art tubes haven’t been tempted to roll tubes (yet).

You got me rethinking my lust for the Cornwall IV.
I need to go and check out both in person again. I did many years ago, but I need to see/hear them again and think about what’s easier to get up to my office and be ideal for my 17’ x 17’ space.
I think the lifetime price was in the $500 USD range before, but don’t quote me.
As far as settings, I leave it stock. No upsampling. I let Roon handle any needed adjustments depending on the device I’m streaming to.
I do use the Crossfade and EQ settings when listening to headphones.
