I'll post again once everything is in place. This is all part of what I've dubbed the "make it cozy" project. My wife said she'd hang out in there more if it was cozy, so that's where some of the gear funds have been diverted to this year.
It’s going to take a couple days to get everything transferred and set up, but new rack came in yesterday. Custom built by a friend who runs a woodworking business as a side job. Mostly Butcher Block Acoustics design with some elements borrowed from Timber Nation.
Or darker speakers. All kinds of combinations. Goes back to that synergy situation.
It has crossed my mind to go all silver on interconnects and then copper or blended weaves for the speakers. And this option paralysis is why I haven't changed out as many cables, lol.
It might be. The mentioned it while showing the new Fender deck, and that deck had the current arm on it at the show. The ability to upgrade the arm would be appealing.
I mean, they still have 2 tables under $2k. And the Forever One is not being advised as an entry level product. It's towards the middle of the range, and the arms is as well.
Hadn't seen these - they look pretty nice as well! Fairly close in price too. I believe VPI is expecting go to market at about $2k retail with their S arm.
Following up on this situation, and I have to say Mofi is really going above and beyond.
They gave me two options:
1 - send the table in and they would have the new motor installed on my existing table, and they'd cover shipping both ways.
2 - they send me a new B-stock table at no cost to...
I have yet to find a better priced solution of the same quality. I have things higher on my priority list, but I'm confident that at some point this will be in my home.
