PLX-1000 is here and... the MP110's pins are too small for the bloody headshell! I'm seeing this as a sign to splurge on another cartridge, is the AT-VM95ML still regarded as the king for that sort of budget?
In the interest of upgradability, a few hours ago I bought a PLX-1000! I have an MP110 laying around which I've just bought a new stylus for, looking forward to setting it up in a few day's time :)
I might start doing the same as the above - I've noticed the horrible PVC smell in the inner sleeve so I'm gonna put it through the Humminguru again and store the PVC sleeve somewhere else... Thanks for the comments all
Anyone got any advice for PVC picture disc sleeves? I have a couple of them and I've just been storing the record in a poly inner outside of the PVC sleeve, both within a normal poly sleeve. However, this will still probably result in the degassing affecting the record, but I don't want to just...

I do have somewhat of a buyer's remorse with this table, perhaps I could sell this P2 slightly discounted with the caveat that it has a hum and use that money towards a table with a removable headshell...
Thanks for the response!
I'm not interested in adding clips for better sound quality per-se, but rather that one of the terminals feels really loose after I've swapped cartridges a few times on it, and I don't remember it being there when I first got the table...
Thanks for the wire...
Hello all!
