Is this the spot for component racks? I’m moving soon into what I’d deem “forever home” and shifting my gear to something better suited.

4 shelves probably makes the most sense for me and trying to keep to around/under $500 if possible. Any opinions on these or other suggestions that I should consider?

I had the Monolith, it's not that good looking but it's sturdy as all get out and does the job.

I personally feel that SolidSteel offerings are pretty overpriced for MDF and steel, but I'm in the minority there. Can't speak to the Salamander.

My experience with Salamander Designs products has been nothing but exceptional. My Archetype is nearing a decade old and remains in pristine condition. Their customer service has alwasy been very helpful, as well, getting me a few pieces of hardware that were missing from the box when I first purchased it and offering to compromise their standard prictices by dealing with me directly should I end up in part of Nova Scotia not covered by their dealers. They probably would not offer the latter with the tariffs nowadays, but they definitely seem to do their best for their customers. I'm currently trading in my Archetype to move up to a Synergy to add space for separates. If you're in the US and like their style, I don't think you can go wrong with the Archetype.
