It’s like the Target and WalMart $15 sales.

They’re drowning in stock that’s not moving and they need to offload, so they move it at a huge discount to the consumer, many of whom will eventually list for sale for a similarly discounted price on Discogs. It’s basically shifting their stock to the consumer.

Sure, there are some good albums in there, but there’s a reason majority of them are still sitting in a warehouse.

The membership has become my annual Xmas gift from my wife at this point, but the anthologies are the only exclusives I am really interested in. Miles will be a must buy, but the Cadet one hasn’t even sold half of its units yet (which my wallet is very thankful for!!). Either way, the Anthologies have become my favorite VMP product.

I’m a little surprised about Cadet not selling well but I think it might once it comes out if it gets good reviews. There are a lot of good albums that are hard to find in that box last I checked.

I am pretty excited for the Cadet anthology. Not really expecting much from the Miles one since I was able to get AAA of a lot of his material before the markets went crazy. That said there a couple of holes that want to fill so never say never

Of course the whisky is helping me think clearer. Maybe I will renew for a year and just keep swapping for credits and grab a couple of anthologies. Will wait until the next quarter titles are announced. Yup S M R T, thats me.

FYI, everyone probably needs to understand this, and I am sure they are going to screw it up, but the email says that accounts that have already renewed this year will receive a redemption email on 3/2.

This is roughly where I’m at for renewal as well… I’ll have to check the list now 🤔

Same here… I’ve been on the fence between Kacey and Kris, and was leaning Kris, but now leaning back the other way 🤔
