Haven’t heard the middle one but completely agree on Soul Glo and The Smile. Both seem like they should be my vibe but left me a bit cold. Neither, were bad they just didn’t wow me like I thought they would.

Listening to this Ethel Cain album right now and it's nice, but I don't like how her voice is very clean sounding. It's too pop-adjacent even if the music is not pop at all. Every song is very long too

To be clear, I don't dislike any of those 3 albums - I just don't love them as much as I really want to. I do love that they all scored well on your list though for sure - made me happy to see.

I finally listened to the Momma album from last year today and had to order the vinyl right after. It's very much inspired by female-fronted 90's bands like The Breeders or Veruca Salt.
