Phono Cartridges - Your favorites and least favorites?

Regarding cartridge mounting screws, the same seller on Ebay offers both aluminum and stainless steel sets. Are there any advantages/disadvantages to either?
Probably go with aluminum as it's guaranteed to be non-magnetic.

The aluminum hardware will be much lighter

The important thing is that the hardware be non magnetic.

So I couldn't resist getting the SAE even though I recently just got the new Opus3 to sound great. But for $100 I couldn't resist. The problem now is that the cart is extremely dirty and the pins corroded. I used some steel wool to clean the pins and a stylus brush to clean the diamond. There is still a bunch of stuff on the cantilever itself that I could not blow nor brush off, how should I go about getting that clean up before I mount the cartridge?

That is crazy. Are you inside the exchange window? @folsom_lives also received a cart with corroded pins and ended up arranging a return and re-ordering.
Yea I just got it yesterday so I should be within the window. The particles on the cantilever is rather hard, seams more like corrosion and dust as it took many tries to clean the tip itself. I am just afraid the coil will be too corroded as well.

I couldn't get the corrosion off my pins so I sent them back. But holy cow that cantilever looks nasty.

I didn't really pay attention to the specs on this.
Thanks for posting this.
Do you you know the cart height and compliance?
It's significantly less weight than AT. Running good on your G?
Any tips??

Decided I need another headshell before putting this on. Don't want to break apart my other carts already mounted. Did you run a heavier headshell on this? Seems like a good time to add weight.

Height is around 18 mm. Compliance is 15-16.

I’m running mine in a factory Technics shell with A/T 6018 wires and feel no need to change anything.

Set it up level and you are golden.

With all the checking, I figured I'd check the second one I bought. The mounted one was clean, this one has a little "smutz", I wonder where, what, is causing that across the board.

I think the reaaaaally bad color and accretion is from high humidity for long periods. Must have been a few boxes stored in a different way.
