even though Griselda isn't really right for Hot 97, Funk Flex is a fool. there's no excuse for THE hip-hop station for NY to not play and acknowledge successful, local hip-hop artists. I know cats like Rosenberg would give them shine, but on the whole that station never does nothing for cats like Griselda.

Just Flex being an out of touch old head who has no idea what the pulse of the culture is anymore and doubling down on his ignorance while trying to clout chase with the generic mainstream artists. What's sad is he would have been all over Griselda if they had come out in the 90's early aughts and they would have been featured heavily on both his show and his mixtapes. I have so many friends who are the same way Flex is now. Got blinders to the genre all of sudden after they got out of college and only know about what they listened to in HS and College and then whatever trash is played on repeat on the radio during their work hours.

Luckily there's 2 drops with how he does things so it's not a one chance only thing. Also hope he's learned what his demand is this time around and has more availability. As amazing as Care for Me was, the 3 year gap in drops built a ton of pent up anticipation which made its re-release a shit show.
EDIT: Got a text a bit ago that there is going to be a special early link for the early drop so hopefully that prevents anyone from guessing what was a usually easy password. I'll share it as soon as I get the text.
