The Photography Thread

Holy shit, these are stunning. Urge to go on a road trip just increased like 200%

These look unreal.

It really was fantastic. We were trying to make time eastbound on our way home that day, but we lingered here for hours.
It was hard to leave; beautiful skies, 65 degrees, just perfect.

Hello! It's me again. Got some new prints in!

This might seem like a slight but I don't mean it that way, you've seemed to push weird HDR-artefacting to an artform. Especially like “Clouds Over my Head” and “Efimeras Artes V2.0.”

Hope you like them! I've been trying to get some colorful and weird effects on some of them. Hopefully it will translate well into real life! Want to get some weird colors too, to make you doubt a bit about what you are seeing. Plus, all of these react with different colored light for new effects! I'll try to get some videos of the effect later tonight.

Any kind of constructive criticism you may have will be greatly appreciated. The few people I have showed them stuff just have been like, "oh, that's cool!", But right now I need more than that 😂. Thanks everyone for watching 🙏

I really like all of them, but Ancient Rituals connects with me the most.

Your compositions are stellar. I like how you use diagonals to create movement and parallel lines to stretch the composition out. As an artist that enjoys impressionism, I like the use of bright dynamic color. I wonder can you play with shadows and their color--for instance, if you have a warm light source, it casts a cool (as in color not temperature) shadow, and vice versa, if your light source is cool, you have warm shadows?

Thanks for the comments! Glad you like them 🙏💜 Ancient Rituals was one I wasn't too sold on, but now that I have it in my hands it did turn out pretty great! It was also one of my friends favorite.

I hadn't thought about the color of the shadows! I'll be sure to experiment with that in the future as it sounds it could translate great in the photos.

A few of these didn't translate as well with the colored lights, so I probably won't be doing big sizes on some, the one I really liked the color changes, is "clouds over my head #13". Will try to post a video for you guys later.

Really appreciate all the comments and love🙏🖤thanks for taking the time to check it out

Hello, it's me again. I got some new prints framed and ready to hang.

This one doesn't have a name yet. If you can think one up, I'm open to suggestions.IMG_20211220_132757.jpg

And this one is going to its new home soon!

Now that the PIFsgiving prints arrived home,'m going to share their picks here. Let me know what you think!

First up a Radiohead print. I really loved how this one turned out. I think I shared one I have hanging on the wall, but the quality of this paper blows mine away! Almost kept it 😂IMG_20211210_190628__01.jpg

Next up, full color version of one I shared a few posts back. I think I prefer the first version more, but this one is great too, I'll print the other one on this size and paper too.IMG_20211210_192841.jpg

One of my first edits, Kinkakuji Temple or the Golden Pavillion in Kyoto. Another one I really like how it turned out.IMG_20211210_183654.jpg

And one I sent to Japan, to one of my favourite groups, Small Circle of Friends. This is from a show I managed to catch, last time I was in Japan.IMG_20211210_190040__01.jpg
