I think this was always the “list price” but with most box sets, Amazon and others had it cheaper. I remember it was in the Target B2G1 sale and I wanna say it was around $350 before discount. My guess is this pops up at lots of other places. Band and label webstores rarely sell below list but Amazon and other shops often do

Not sure what you mean by originals, exactly. But I bought the limited pressing from Captured Tracks when this album was first released and the pressing is subpar. I sent one copy back because it was pressed off center. The replacement copy may be similar, I don't recall as I haven't spun it in a while. But CT wasn t known for using a good pressing plant back in the day. Amen. There was just a SYEOR version I think but not sure if it ended up being any good or not. I just got the Curtis Run Out Groove pressing. It's my first pressing of theirs so I'm curious to hear how it sounds!
I have a few ROG (Secret Machines and The Fire Theft). They all sound pretty good and the packaging is really nice.
