Bromethazine on Twitter is the guy who bought the original 4 panel vinyl for 4k from Mach, the GAT lathe for 3k and has at least one of every other thing

He got this within 5 minutes of it dropping and didnt blink. Told the discord he'd do an unboxing video. Fucking tech sector youngins out here with ridiculous flexes but he's also a great dude so i can't even hate

Quick history lesson. This afternoon I finally grabbed Neg De La Peg Prod – Sortir Du Tunnel. This mixtape was recorded in 1994 (yes, 1994) but got lost after Moda & Dan (Neg De La Peg, the first is also member of Les Sages Poetes de la Rue) changed their mind and didn't wanted to release these recordings. The comp features groups or artists from the french hip-hop golden era like La Cliqua, Booba, Mo'Vez Lang, Dany Dan (of Les Sages Poetes de la Rue), Ideal J, and productions from Dan, Melopheelo, Dj Mehdi (Ed Banger) Le Chimiste, Cutee B.

It's funny to listen to these artists I grew up with in their early years. Not everything sounds great but it's part of the French Hip-Hop story. Some never released anything else, others became legend and released classic albums (Les Sages Poetes de la Rue, Ideal J, Fabe, La Cliqua or Booba).

I don't find spending that much on a record a flex. It's a Martin Shkreli type move.
To each their own. When Jay Z said he spent a million on a basquiat I was like whoa for a painting?!?! then he said:

I bought some artwork for one million
Two years later, that shit worth two million
Few years later, that shit worth eight million
I can't wait to give this shit to my children…

I was like damn. What a flex

Not that they are the same entity, but the GAT vinyl sold for 5k a few weeks back on Ebay without an auction (originally cost was 2 to 3K depending on when you got it)

Nahhhh. Can't lump everyone in to a category like this.

Music is priceless, imo. If you're spending thousands on records just for the show of it is one thing. But if you legitimately love music and have the funds to enjoy and buy what you legitimately love then that's a blessing.

And to a broke boy like me yeah that's still a dope flex lol
