Yup, but that’s kinda Storf’s MO when it comes to giving clues unfortunately. The good news is it’s been confirmed that 1993 Hip-Hop Essential will be a 2xLP pressing. I was kind of afraid they would do something foolish and repress either 36 Chambers or MM as a single LP but now on fancy colored wax.

Back in the day I would be super excited find out what the related exclusives would be for either ATCQ or Wu-Tang but they really offer related exclusives anymore unfortunately.
 
i guess i might just have to sell the original 36 chambers if its that... if not then I got the 80 bucks worth out of the way... I'll listen to deloused today and see if I want it and if not I'll sell it to one of you for 30 bucks (possibly as a flat rate including shipping)... i do want the bill faye album since I did really enjoy what I heard of it

I also have an OG 36 Chambers but will pick up the VMP one as well if it does turn out to be this.

I have a few OG's alongside reissues and it's sometimes nice to be able to switch between them. It's not always a case of one pressing sounding better than the other, but one pressing sounding different.

Yeah, I've got the numbered coloured MOV press and the 7 inch box set of 36 Chambers... I mean okay fine I'll get another because this is one of my favorite albums ever but... CMOON MIDNIGHT MARAUDERS

I'm having a hard time justifying the cost if they do 36 Chambers! As much as I should upgrade my cassette copy I can't see it being much of an upgrade especially at that price! I'm having trouble with MM as well but seeing as that's the best Tribe record I really should have a copy and might as well be a quality one!

Still holding out hope the 71 album is Mark Fry Dreaming with Alice...

I agree but I’m prepared to be proven wrong and I am positive it will be the definitive pressing! Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is without a doubt a top 10 hip-hop album of all-time, so any upgrade is priceless for me! And just having a definitive VMP pressing of 36 Chambers is 🔥🔥🔥 for me too! Fucking love 36 Chambers so much; really does need the 2LP treatment! Such a precious album! ♥️🔦💎♟

Mmmmm and I’m also kind of hoping it’s Enta Da Stage too! It’s hard actually because I love Midnight Marauders but I love Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) even more! They are both top 20 hip-hop albums of all-time for me!

Enter The Wu-Tang is around my 5th/6th favourite hip-hop album ever and Midnight Marauders is around my 13th/14th favourite hip-hop album of all-time! Both are just incredible albums!
 
comus and wu tang clan seem to be a lot less interesting to me (because one I already own and the other is just... too weird if this first song is anything).. having relistened to mars volta i did actually enjoy it pretty well so that's a go but I would only really go hard for it if it was bill fay and tribe

Bill Fay is also a RSD release in Europe on drop 2. If that confirms it or rules it out is anyones guess, though. It's one of the best singer/songrwriter albums ever made IMO, so it would be a great pick.
