Needles & Grooves Fantasy Hockey League

Injury 🤕 update:

It appears Carey Price is a little banged up.

The Montreal Canadiens goaltender will not travel with the team to Toronto for Wednesday's game against the Maple Leafs and will instead remain in Montreal to receive treatments, the team announced Tuesday.

Price is considered day-to-day due to an injury that's been nagging him for a while, so his absence is precautionary, head coach Dominique Ducharme said, according to The Athletic's Arpon Basu.

The 33-year-old Price appeared to aggravate the injury during Monday's game against the Edmonton Oilers but did not depart the contest. He stopped 21 of 23 shots in a 3-2 overtime victory.

Price seemed to be in some discomfort after an awkward-looking play in the second period.

Ducharme said postgame that Price was being evaluated but added, "We don't think it's anything serious," according to Sportsnet's Eric Engels.

Price owns a .903 save percentage and a 2.66 goals-against average in 23 games this season. His status for Thursday is to be determined, Ducharme said, according to Basu.

Jake Allen is projected to start Wednesday, while Cayden Primeau has been promoted from the AHL's Laval Rocket to Montreal's taxi squad and will travel with the club to Toronto.

So...this about sums up my luck this fantasy season.
I’m pretty damn sure I set my line up this morning and swapped in Bergeron...well looking at my lineup tonight...saw he wasn’t in my lineup for some reason. And of course he scores a hat trick 🤦🏻‍♂️

Last Place...here I come 😂💩🏆
