I mean, I've talked shit about VMP at times when I felt they deserved it, but that day I just felt kind of bad that those releases were being referred to as trash. Storf was online, so I wanted to say that I felt different and believed that they did a good job with it. The typical FOMO for the sake of FOMO thing is pretty nuts, but psychologically, it just puts you in a position where you need to make a quick decision whether or not you're going to regret something if you miss it and the clock is winding down. If things are quiet and the hype isn't crazy at the moment, there's a mindset where you can kind of relax and not worry about it too much. The whole Plantasia thing was interesting, because some of us have really been waiting years for that reissue and a lot of people were buying it while questioning why, at the same time. Lots of things are purchased unheard in those situations. Like so much of this stuff, Crumb just needed a couple of people to say it's worth checking out. Not everything does, but their sound seems like something that would definitely appeal to a lot of members on this forum. I mean, I'm still finding really great stuff that I should have been up on a long time ago, but somehow managed to avoid listening to until recently. The pre-order thread is really dangerous for that. Too much great stuff and too many people letting you know about it.
Yeah, Crumb deserved more attention than it was getting at first. Glad we got it to sell out. Shame we're not getting it on time, but such is life.
