I agree with this but would also add that I prefer Sparta to Mars Volta as well. That being said it don’t think Mars Volta is bad, I enjoy their albums I just enjoy them less than ATDI or Sparta.

Yep I agree. I think De Loused is pretty good and I saw them live around then and they were absolutely on fire. They lost me a lot after that but I don’t think it’s bad, just far too prog for me.
