Not my thang but I know their last LP was well liked around these parts...

The Pre Order for the Loser Edition of CHAI’s new LP.

Wait have they confirmed there’ll be an indie variant?
I may have been in for the clear. Weezer Flesh would have been my next choice from the preorders but I cant say I like it enough to drop half the album cost on shipping 😩
Also my mail preorders are finally starting to thin out and I'm trying my best not to let them pile up again 😂

Its clear with multi color splatter I believe. Was posted on their insta.

If I see it go up, will tag ya!
I have the RTJ2 pressing that doesn't have the Gangsta Boo verse on "Love Again", which really changes the tone of the track overall, so I may try to pick this one up if I manage to catch it when it drops.
Same! Really love her verse on that. I was very confused the first time I listened to it on vinyl.

Weezer used to be my favorite band but I stoppped listing to them after Make Believe, I just felt Rivers started to do quantity over quality.
Their catalog is pretty spotty, but the recent White Album and Everything Will Be Alright In The End are just examples that they CAN still release great albums.

plus the new single for it ain’t bad, so I have some hope

Same but substitute Make Believe with The Green Album. The Green Album was fine but I never connected to it like I had their first two record. Though I do think if they put out some sort of post-Pinkerton greatest hits album it would be pretty brilliant.

I hear you. I wasn't in love was the Green album but I dug Maladroit and Make Believe. I loved the Blue Album and Pinkerton and saw them on both of those tours. While most people were into Pearl Jam, Green Day and Smashing Pumpkins, for me it was Weezer. Sad that they have become what they have but they are laughing all the way to the bank.

Oh the same, Weezer was a huge band in my early adolescence. I only gotta see them live though post-The Green Album and they were fantastic. There are very few modern guitar rock bands in this day and age that still garner mainstream attention and clearly they are doing something right but yeah, It’s just not my cup of tea. As I grew into my musical taste I found bands like Pavement and Yo La Tengo that can give me what I’m missing from latter day Weezer albums so I am good.

Side Note: I would be all over a pressing of Matt Sharp’s The Rentals - Return Of The Rentals on wax.
