Needles & Grooves AOTM /// Vol. 20 - February 2021 /// Birds of Chicago - Love in Wartime

I hereby solemnly promise that if we're all still alive and using computers with electricity when I come up for AOTM the clues will be inscrutable, complex, intentionally misleading, and require multiple links to discover the meaning of even a single one of them.
Addendum: @Goatfish will be prohibited from making any public guesses.

They are going to think that is what is going on regardless. This is clear to me this time around.

Shanghai Rainbow Chamber Singers - Songs of Eventide

Which contains a song called The Mountain Breeze and The Forest Path

Also, just because I’m feeling super generous and don’t want you guys wasting too much time in bottomless and pointless rabbit holes. Henhouse is the proper interpretation of that clue. However, the artist is not listed in that very exhaustive list from the other day.

When did @Lee Newman 's avatar change?
Are you teasing us with the "on the nose" picture?
Has this been discussed?
Am I Donny here?

Yesterday, completely unrelated to this. Someone texted something at work and I took the selfie as a “not it” for the task and then decided it made a good one for me in response to several others changing their avatars to pictures of themselves.

I definitely tried to make it into Jimmy Smith's Back at the Chicken Shack.
