They charge when they ship but seem to have delayed charges pop up every couple of weeks for preorders.
I ordered 3 records and saw a $45 charge pop up on my credit card every couple of weeks but was only actually charged once it shipped.
Ah, that might explain some of what I'm seeing, since there are a few charges listed as 'pending' on my credit card account--might be those pop-up charges you're referring to. Thanks! I just tried to go through all of my orders back to early October, do the math, look at shipping dates, connect with credit card charges...... It's kind of impossible, so I'm just going to have faith it'll all work out as it should! o_O

they charge and uncharge (pending charges) my account for pre-ordered items the charge that actually stays is when item/items are tracked and delivered, at the end of the day the math works out haven't had a issue yet and have ordered from them countless times and if there was ever a issue their customer service is A-1 and very helpful.

Thank you. That gives me some comfort in deciding to leave well enough alone and not worry about it.

Has anyone here ordered Art Blakey’s Buhaina’s Delight (BN80) or Lee Morgan’s Cornbread (Tone Poet) from uDiscover since early November? I have, but neither has shipped (probably because they’re sold out).

I’m assuming these items will be restocked eventually (like Shorter’s Etcetera was).
I'm waiting on that Blakey as well. All my other orders, there were like 10 of them, I have received.

Does anyone know when Target charges for orders? Is it at the time the order is placed, or when the item ships? I've just noticed a bunch of recent Target charges on my credit card account and I know I haven't made any recent purchases. So I'm wondering whether these may be 'delayed' charges for items ordered last month (like the Kinks - Lola album I received a shipping notice for this week). I suppose this would be a simple matter of comparing the charged amounts to specific order totals, but with all the ordering and canceling and 30% off deals, those simple comparisons aren't possible!
Others I think have mentioned but Target places a hold on your account for any preorders every 30 days. You aren’t actually charged until it ships.

The deal is not back. Saved for later items usually have the option to apply the deal but in my experience if you go to check out it won’t give you the sale price. Could be wrong though...

Yeah, same experience with me. I think it's a glitch that just shows in the cart.

I’ve gone back and forth on whether or not I need this one. The price with code is great but wondering where it’s pressed and if it’s actually AAA

edit: seems like pressed at PRP and plated at GZ if the last Band reissue is any indication.

Also wondering how this will compare to the Capitol Albums box set version, which was pressed at QRP. Not sure of the source for the box either.

Looks like Bellman has cut the past few reissues. , and the box set was mastered by capital and is a different remaster. The box is also available in this sale.

The Capitol box set versions are fine but the remixes and remasters of the first two albums are incredible. I don't even hesitate to put on the new ones now. Not sure where the 2018 Big Pink was pressed but it sounds miles better than the original mix (to me, I know a lot of other big fans disagree).

I am with you on this. I love the 45 rpm remasters of both Big Pink and The Band. The Remixes are noticeably different but in a good way.

The Stage Fright reissue isn’t 45 though right? Seems like a single disc. I already have MoFis of Big Pink and The Band but now am considering getting this reissue...
