No preorder yet, but looks like a new LNT from Khruangbin is coming. If the globe doesn’t give it away it’s a focus on international music:
Oh man I want this but $52 shipped is steep. Torn between wanting to see what other options pop up and just saying “fuck it, it’s for charity.”

Ugh, quick poll, do LNT comps 1) count toward an artist’s discography or 2) are they something completely outside of the artist’s personal body of work?
Edit: asking more from the perspective of your collectors’ nerd brains, not, like, how Discogs would classify it (for example).
If they have an exclusive song on the album (which they almost all do), you could make the argument that they count. But likely with only one song, you just chalk it up to a compilation-only exclusive.Ugh, quick poll, do LNT comps 1) count toward an artist’s discography or 2) are they something completely outside of the artist’s personal body of work?
This is the type of reasonable, “talk me out of it” thinking that you don’t see enough of in this thread. I’m out!If they have an exclusive song on the album (which they almost all do), you could make the argument that they count. Case in point: I don't think many Bon Iver or Vampire Weekend completionists are collecting Twilight soundtracks to get their hands on their exclusive songs.
I have so many LNT comps at this point that they have their own Flipbin. I wouldn’t consider them part of their discography but it’s adjacent. There will be at least one cover song by Khruangbin on there.Ugh, quick poll, do LNT comps 1) count toward an artist’s discography or 2) are they something completely outside of the artist’s personal body of work?

As per my post a few back, it’s an exclusive cover.I have so many LNT comps at this point that they have their own Flipbin. I wouldn’t consider them part of their discography but it’s adjacent. There will be at least one cover song by Khruangbin on there. Part of me is wondering if it will just be the cover they released as a 7” a month or two ago.
either way I bet the comp is great especially if you like their sound.
Ya I just saw the vid and ninja edited my post haha. “Summer Madness” is the coverAs per my post a few back, it’s an exclusive cover.
