And finishing up the night and the mini haul with my all time favorite band, I probably listened to this live album a million times back in the day. Also a big thank you to @kvetcha, all the albums were priced well and were all in reall, REALLY, good condition

What's the verdict Gap!!! Did you love it? It's amazing, isn't it!
I'm about to disappoint @NathanRicaud and @Rip_City.
I like What's Your Pleasure? but don't love it. It's clearly got a lot of talent behind it and is expertly produced + arranged, but it just feels... static, if that's the word? It's all a bit too subtle for me. There's not a lot of sonic variety and it kept blending into the background, not really holding my attention. I will spin it more and it will likely grow on me, but I can definitely see what @siremobunny meant by it being too faithfully disco. There's some boundary between me and the music, I recognize it's good but the music doesn't reach out and grab me enough to make an extra leap to greatness for me.
Thanks for directing me to the review!@NathanRicaud, here's her review from another thread (read with caution):
Jarv Is... "Beyond The Pale"
(Rough Trade 2020, indie exclusive pressing on translucent orange vinyl)
I just received this yesterday. Had streamed some of the tracks and liked them enough to pick this up. I can always use more Jarvis Cocker in my collection. So this is my first real spin of the LP. The vinyl sounds amazing - very quiet pressing. And I'm enjoying Jarvis Cocker giving me vibes of Leonard Cohen circa 1984.
