Vinyl Me Please Classics

Bar-keys. It's cool and all but I don't think I'll ever really spin it. May try shenagans instead and try to flip BVSC into my classics and use my main international sub to pick up the AP Little Girl Blue or Otis Blue. Anyone know if this works or do VMP block any track swapping?

Honestly. It's a tough month. I. Mean they're both infinitely decent and BVSC has, as an album, a history and story that makes it a relatively interesting one to own... But I could trade in both subs for an AP or flip BVSC into classics and stump up like 15 quid or something.

But in reality if either really gets a play it would be fairly unusual.
 
I thought only like, one person was able to convince staff to manually swap for an AP press. Am I misremembering?

Or maybe y’all meant swap for credits and buy it outright?

I'm on an international sub so my store credit is worth 40 dollars. Swap for Store credit gets me within 19 dollars of an AP and if I chuck in classics then I'm there.

Either way bar keys isn't making it. I'll have to do with a hyperbole filled, emoji chucking jizz fest read along from others who did grab it

Should be working. Unless they suddenly block that.
 
FYI, I still don't have my Tyner nor any note that it's shipped (thankfully, I have the MoFi SACD so I'm ok as far as the desire to listen to it in good sound) but my Dearie arrived yesterday and my Mavis swap arrived today. I think it's just a warehouse F up, as usual. I just kind of keep the faith since these things usually show up.

FWIW my Tyner shipped, indicated as such on the system, but didn't have a tracking number. It showed up in a box with my Prince Paul ROTM. So it very well may be in one of those two boxes that you have tracking for.

Same for me. Had a shipping notice for White Stripes, but no tracking number. And a shipping notice with tracking number for Prince Paul. White Stripes turned out to be in the Prince Paul box.
 
Most frustrating part is that it will be a week tomorrow that I emailed CS and only got a canned response. I am glad that "Every every member of our team is working around the clock to solve your issue, and will get to your question as quickly as we're able to." They are working so hard, none of them can even proofread or correct the email. Eejits

There was yet another screw up in the system and it has been dispatching albums individually. My buddy got all 3 tracks this past month and they all shipped in separate boxes and arrived on the same day. Could you imagine how much money VMP is wasting through their awful backend yet again?

It's really insane that they're 9 months (I think) into the new website and they still have major issues like this.

I got my essentials and classics in the same box so it must be totally random aka the VMP way

My fiancée works in risk management and when I mentioned this is the norm for VMP she was speechless hah. It is insane how much money they must be bleeding just because they tried to save a few bucks on whoever made their site.

I think the craziest part to me, is only half this shit happened with the old site. It's crazy to go from a site that mostly works, to one that is still not working correctly 9+ months later.
 
My shipment with The Beths, Phoebe, and Khruangbin showed up today, but no sign of Tyner & it's still just listed as in-stock and Pending. I also see that Chet Baker is listed as in-stock but that didn't ship with the other exclusives. Maybe I'm getting a separate jazz box at some point in the future?

I'm guessing anyone who was supposed to get The White Stripes (not me) got priority since it was already a month late and then they're filling in the rest as they can. Those of us who are BOTS are going to be at least a week later than usual, with VMP's usual lack of communication leading the way. They still somehow don't see a correlation between their (has to be at this point) intentional lack of communication when things don't go according to schedule and a spike in CS tickets... for which they also continue to be unprepared to handle.
