George Braith ‎– Soul Stream (Blue Note, 1963 First Stereo Pressing)

Late to the party, but yesterday was George Braith's 81st Birthday. Braith recorded some killer releases on Blue Note (amongst other labels) and even created the Braithophone (an alto and tenor saxophone joined together with a single mouthpiece). Heres an instagram post I made if anyone is interested.

I deleted my old instagram account a few months ago. My new Instagram account is dedicated to café's and restaurant's only as I love eating out! I've gone anonymous and I don't follow any people or friends. The only exception is Vinyl Me Please because they make up a big part of my life and they don't post much anyways! I looked up your Instagram and I had to follow it as it is exceptional! I love your Instagram so much and am honestly inspired and heart-warmed by it! And I know I'm going to discover so many gems from you! I absolutely LOVE your descriptions of the albums and love that you try and search for an original pressing of the jazz albums you acquire! ♥

Keep on doing this because I love it and gain so much from it and I'm sure so many other people do too! And your passion for music shines through and makes you look super attractive on top! 💯

WOW! That pressing looks beautiful! Where did you get that coloured variant from! It looks beautiful and goes very nicely with album cover too!👌

That's the UK Indie exclusive at most of the UK record shops. I believe you can still pick it up at Piccadilly Records where I got mine. My copy has a bit of warp though.

Ivory Coast Soul 2

Two superior compilations, one of "boss soul", the other from Cote D'Ivoire. Plus a bonus Motown 7 that fell out of the first one (I used to store my 45s like this so there's sometimes a surprise I wasn't expecting - like this, maybe my favourite Motown tune of all)

Friday Music Reissue

My third (and final) Friday Music Kinks reissue.

This is the best sounding of the lot, which is odd being a live album. It also only sounds fair. I had a fourth ordered, but cancelled. That’s how generally poor these Friday Music reissues are.A951E94A-1E0C-4E61-829B-C45F008C3C9E.jpeg
