So, an album I'm 100% swapping, an album I already own, and Spiritualized.

I'm one for three, so swaps had better be damn good.

Same, unless there is something extra compelling about the Buena Vista pressing. I hope the next couple Classics picks are as good for me as this one and I'll be set.

It's such a low bar to hurdle to make a better copy of LAGWAFIS than what's out on Plain and I'm still going to spend the next three months worried about VMP's version because 1) that's how much I want to own a great version of an album I love and 2) faith I have in this process...

Until I get a confirmed track list to know it’s the proper vinyl version. I’m assuming it’s not and it’s shit because although I’ll go back to these clowns for this album I’d rather not have to and also I don’t trust them an inch.

Right? I have the most recent reissue on Nonesuch which also used the original master. Not sure if it was AAA or not. Will this one be? It’s kind of hard to tell. I know BG was the original mastering engineer and has previously cut lacquers for the Classic Records issue which was the original US release. Im assuming this was originally recorded to tape?

I got that too. I was at least able to change track (which is what I wanted - I wanted Sahara) by pressing the edit button on my plan. But then again I think I'm being v lucky because this is my 4th month having only paid for 2. Nice to have VMP appear to screw up in a good way for once! (Although I'm not counting my chickens till I have the record, unwarped, in my hands)

Stay with me is track 5 on the CD and track C3 (10). That causes all the ones after it on the CD, but now before it on the vinyl, to shuffle up one. And of course the Elvis version of the title track.

The 2LP remaster of Disintegration is exceptional. Man is the bass deep and a defined on that thing.

There is one. The current 2LP is exceptional, as I stated above.

I think it’s a brilliant press. Clean, quiet and I really like the mastering, carries a definite heft. I’ve had 2 (I dropped the first one drunk ) and both were fantastic as far as I’m concerned.
