Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

It was more a rhetorical question. They noticed that @NathanRicaud was always positive and enthusiastic on here and decided to reward him for it. 😁🤡👻👩‍🦳👨‍❤️‍👨🦜🐗🙏👅💋👓🐧🐞🐒🦜

The same way they check on here and noticed that @Mather has an expensive Vinyl Flat so they pick out their most warped records every month personally so he can get the opportunity to use his fantastic piece of kit.

Even theirs? Last years curation was a dumpster fire, especially in the normally reliable classics....

i actually really liked about 60-70 percent of the classics picks this year . Loved Al Green, Isleys, Nat Turner , BB , Buddy, Blakey, and Brubeck. Missed Blossom but it’s really grown on me . The others I swapped for Floyd, Mavis, Banks, and a few others, I’m forgetting. So all in all I mostly enjoyed the curation this year.

Subjective. RHH was hit or miss but I still loved classics and I thought Essentials was the strongest year yet, especially the first half.

what isn’t subjective is that it’s been disgustingly unbalanced and had two of the poorest records (Miller and Bobo) that I’ve ever heard anyone describe as “curated”.

60-70% is a weak strike rate for me in such an expensive pursuit.

I liked both those records quite a bit and think they’re definitely different than anything in my collection, so the curation continues to work for me. To each their own though

There's some law in the UK that if someone comments how good a product is, and they've received it for free, then legally they also need to indicate that they received the product for free.

It's something to do with the Advertising Standards Authority and Competition & Markets Authority.

We've all seen the amazon reviews saying "great product which was sent to me for free" etc.

Similarly, would Nathan would need to declare that he's received vmp products for free if he says anything positive about those vmp products from now on....?

He’s going to comment positively on them if he gets them for free or not so I don’t think it will make a difference.

If I was to get free items however you can guarantee I will give my impartial and unbiased five star review of their must buy products.

I think Australia is independent of the Queen these days. I could be wrong though. Like maybe they have a Canada like arrangement, I wouldnt know cause Australia didn't have Kids In the Hall to teach me.

I'm sure that's if they're giving a public review or something on YouTube. I doubt that would apply if it's a comment on a private forum.

After nearly a full month, my CS ticket has finally been answered and they'll be sending a copy of Lucille "soon". Finally cleared out with VMP.

Time to move on.
well I’ll be that guy to say as we head towards the end of January 2020 I am still waiting on orders from November 2019. Got some of them. Still waiting on more of them.
