So this seems to be some mysterious project just announced by Damon Albarn on Twitter. Includes 3 Songs with an amazing line up of artists: Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, FKA twigs, Omou Sangaré, Nick Hakim, Damon himself, Bilal and Syd.

Apparently it won't be released elsewhere (physically or digitally) apart from this Vinyl release. It's rather pricey though, 40$ for 16 minutes of music....
I'm confused by the press on this. Seems like it is likely the same guy, Terry Slingbaum, who is on the Revive/Blue Note "Supreme Sonacy" comp.

Not into buying something for $40 that is only 16 minutes when there is not even a sample though.

The tweet also seems to say the pink RT variant is a gatefold?

But with so many variants, would not be surprised if they are mixed up on that...the site says not gatefold for the pink.

Some crossover here but here's what Bullmoose is saying:

I'll probably just grab the red from Bullmoose for $23

Dreamy psych baroque folk! Released just a year after her vocals graced Leonard Cohen's debut, Nancy Priddy's lone album is a sweeping odyssey across avant garde arrangements rife with experimental pop instrumentation and adorned with her sublimely delivered psychedelic poetry. Previously unavailable on vinyl for over 50 years, it's an unpredictable and kaleidoscopic trip.

Soul Step Records proudly announces SSR-057!

We are so honored to release two tracks off the latest album from Young Gun Silver Fox. This was one of our top albums of 2018 and we get to take two choice cuts - “Take It Or Leave It & Mojo Rising” and get it on a very special Soul Step Records release.

The forces behind Young Gun Silver Fox are Andy Platts and Shawn Lee. It was inevitable that two of the UK's most prolific and versatile pop music linguists would one day collaborate on a studio project that crystallized many of their creative strengths. The authentic hybrid of styles is further steeped in the fact that Shawn, the team's silver-haired Silver Fox, is an American who resided in LA for seven years before relocating to London. "Andy understands the classic melodic pop side as well as the soul funky side that was absolutely vital to the creation of this music. What a voice!" The admiration is mutual. "A lot of people today can claim to be ‘multi-instrumentalists’ but Shawn truly is a multi-hat-wearing-cat," says Andy, the Young Gun of the duo. "Musically, his ear and ridiculous encyclopedic musical brain continues to floor me. Some of the music he generated on this album was so special I really had to dig deep to do it justice in a songwriting sense."

This is a great 45 to spin over and over and over. Young Gun Silver Fox doesn’t dismiss the term yacht rock when describing their 45 with Soul Step Records. This 45 has 70’s SoCal infused pop rock that recalls Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates to a modern day Mayer Hawthorne.

Available to Soul Step Subscribers on Saturday, January 18th and to the general public on January 20th via FatBeats distribution.

What the hell is happening, a week ago I was moaning about the lack of records I'm excited for and now it's raining tons... Also just discovered Myrkur and Habibi... Help

I hear you, but I follow Bull Moose on twitter, and they warned me/us on Jan 6th this was coming. Of course, they should have replaced "today and tomorrow" with "the next two weeks."

Another variant limited to 400 copies. The blue one looks real nice though.

OMG, that single... absolutely gorgeous and haunting! Don't know which one of these versions to choose, the ones with small pressing numbers are already sold out.

I lucked out as I was on email when Relapse Myrkur preorder popped up. So I grabbed it. Then posted here. Then went back and it was gone. The most limited Relapse issue variants often are gone in minutes.

But also grabbed one of the 500 pressings on Bandcamp link for a play copy. I think they look super nice, may play better (pin wheels can be iffy), and I like owning bandcamp digital backup.

These rollouts with like 4+ variants are so overwhelming they lull me into inaction. I love Thundercat, I will eventually get this album, but I'm not buying it today. If it had one limited choice and one black vinyl, I prob would get buy the limited today.
