Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

The guy who got 16 records claims to have won the turntable and a book and was given the Saba test pressing. We can credit the odds of having 16 entries for that, but I suspect they just gave him that stuff because he returned the most
But Mr. C. I really don't care about a tt, book or test pressing. I really want to know who won the clothing!!! ;)

Anyone ask for a PWRBTTM test pressing?

I keep thinking that we must have reached an end to the insanity, but VMP continues to double down on their own stupidity.
With the broken embargo records I'm almost sympathetic; it's a shambles but if the warehouse is under pressure to get stuff out then I can see how they're just looking at the list, putting records in the box and getting it out.

However...it does come back to poor stock management in the first place - if the system was working then the packers would have the right pick lists and the embargoed records would stay on their shelf until their time.

Every shipment of things like that that I've ever seen comes in boxes that make it VERY clear what the street date is. But I don't disagree that the warehouse workers have been put in an impossible situation by those higher up the chain making TERRIBLE decisions on a daily basis.

VMP is also probably pressuring them to ship out as much as possible as quickly as possible since they are so far behind.

"hey warehouse workers, we're going to need you to work around the clock during this Christmas time. But don't worry, we are going to order you some pizzas, on us!" - VMP, probably
