This is such a whimsical moment of hope. You are a gem and deserve to feel this way forever.

...I'd be interested in revisiting this moment later once we see which and how many of these titles you actually receive, in what condition, and in what timeline, just to see if and to what degree the reality and expectations line up.

I hope it all goes as well as anyone should be able to reasonably expect when ordering anything from anywhere. Basically, that you get an undamaged quality product that you paid for without delays or "unforeseen" issues.

So far it’s been pretty good! I got everything I ordered in my November box and the box was packed well, and all the records I played so far were great (except for FKA Twigs, which had a major warp on side B and Celia Cruz, which had a warp on side A). My December box should be massive, but I’m a bit worried not everything will come to me. I’ve got five single shipments already on there way to me, and just a lot of other records. Not sure if everything will process, but I’m not stressing at all! 😌

I’ll definitely be buying less ‘new release’ exclusive vinyl from 2020. I just really like all the crate digger drops this week and the VMP Rising, so they are all instant grabs for me 👍

VMP are in such a mess at the moment though. Like, I’m shocked with how much they are stuffing things up......🤦‍♂️
 
@Mather - I played my Jeff Buckley tonight and it was quiet! Sound quality was great and there was no surface noise at all. I got lucky!

Also, the colour variant is absolutely beautiful! And I loved listening to Hallelujah as well! It felt really soothing and romantic and sad!

I really hope you get a replacement and that it’s a good one! 🤞

Had you heard the album before? What did you think? I think that, both lyrically and musically, Lover, You Should Have Come Over is one of my all time favourite songs.

Definitely, while the music and vocal are obviously very powerful he paints some beautiful pictures with his lyrics in that one. I find the opening lyric in particularly to be pretty jaw dropping:

Looking out the door
I see the rain fall upon the funeral mourners
Parading in a wake of sad relations
As their shoes fill up with water

So what you're saying is that all of them were great and perfect... except the ones that weren't.

So, interestingly in the new shop, you can again estimate stock left from adding more to the cart. I added 305 of Kelsey Waldon to the cart. If i go to checkout it reduced the number to the 161 they still have left :)


Edit: seems to be typically vmp reliable.
It says it only has 11 Archie Shepps left, but it let me check out with 1015 woodstock box sets
