Got my box today, Brubeck is amazing. There are a couple of minor pops on side B, but a cleaning might take care of it, but it's nothing major either way. It goes well alongside my copy of Jazz Impressions of Eurasia.

Glad to hear about your Brubeck, I have an email in for replacement.. couldn't clean it enough to make it sound better. :(
 
Just received my shipment today. I know this is a more general question, but I got a seam split on my Brubeck jacket. Is this worthy of replacement? Never got a jacket with seam split before.
My record sounds excellent otherwise.

So, I was lazy and hadn't cleaned it yet. I noticed after I spun the record the stylus was covered in gunk (it wasn't before this album). I cleaned it and replayed Rising Sun. Now the distortion is gone but it is much noisier? Never happened to me before.

So I guess they're just sending you $15 for fucked up jackets now? Curious to see if they take seam splits more seriously. The whole bottom edge on mine is creased at an angleand the corner is really bent.

That was their initial responses me as well when I had a similar issue a few months back. If you prefer a new copy push back. Let them know it’s unacceptable and hopefully they will take care of you. I told them I paid for N/M N/M, that the jacket is part of the product and if they packaged their product better damage would not occur. Also, I warned them if they didn’t send me at minimum a new sleeve I would cancel my subscription, dispute the charge my credit card and spend every chance I got shitting on their product on social media.

Maybe a bit overkill but it worked. I got my albums replaced.

Update: got a response from JaSoN. He claimed that there were no replacement jackets left for Brubeck. He credited my account with $15 VMP credit. Guess it'll have to do.
Wondering what's in this fabled Black Friday sale y'all keep talking about, so I'll hold onto the credit until then!

If they aren't these, it is an incredible coincidence...
