Not sure what their contracts with Motown were, but I’m sure Berry Gordy Jr and whomever owns the current rights to many of the songs is getting paid! I’m sure the contracts the women recorded under weren’t particularly favorable with regards to royalties.

And there were lawsuits in the late 80s-90s with settlements made. Not sure if those settlements included terms for future earned royalties but I doubt it.

Yeah, which is weird. Mine arrived at the Jersey City Facility yesterday which means usually delivered the next day or at the latest, the day after. Weird they don't have an estimated arrival date at this point.
 
Is anyone willing to share the podcast again this time around? As much as I joke, I'd love to hear it. If y'all are sworn to secrecy or just don't feel comfortable sharing with someone not willing to cough up the dough for the set, I get it. If you are, DM me please. Thanks!
 
My box has now been stuck in the Jersey City distribution facility for 3 days. So much for getting this on the early side...

Yeah I dont know if USPS itself really works that way once it gets to the facility. That would more be something VMP has to do themselves from their own warehouse (I could be wrong).

I know JC facility is a huge one and they get backed up easily when large quantities come through. Usually its just during December but lately I've had alot of packages delayed a day or two there when it used to mean I was getting it the next day.
