Yes, it is Gatefold, coloured, plated at QRP and cut at Sterling Sound and mastered by Ryan Smith! Is this Outcast different than the one already available?
it looks like this VMP pressing of Stankonia will be the definitive pressing!
Definitely! And the MOV pressing does sound great, so there’s a chance the MOV pressing/RSD pressing remains the better pressings! You gotta listen to it first.

Are you grabbing this OutKast ROTM JonnyH?

Mama’s Gun is a magnificent album! The pressing details look very promising for that one too! The music on Mama’s Gun is aromatic, incense, smoky, and transports you to an island where you sip on some nice hot tea, listen to the ocean breeze and enjoy the easy life! It’s quite a moody album, and the instrumentation on that album is impressive! What is actually making it a tough decision is mamas gun.
The weight of the record, in this case 180g vs 140g, should never be the deciding factor in which pressing is better. The weight of the record does not impact its sound.Yes, it is Gatefold, coloured, plated at QRP and cut at Sterling Sound and mastered by Ryan Smith!
It is not 180g however and I believe the MOV pressing is 180g in comparison! Still, it looks like this VMP pressing of Stankonia will be the definitive pressing!
Im almost certain that once you pay for the items they cannot then message later on asking for additional money. So anything you buy (regardless of it being a pre-order) at the time of being a member will fall under the free shipping offered at the time of purchase.I'd have a general VMP question... I used to be a member until I quit in January after my fair share of problems and lack of interessting titles for me. However, I'm really really interessted in that Sonny Rollins classics pick of last month, and I'd love to get my hands on the 2 John Lee Hooker records, which are up for pre-order.
So I was thinking, joining the VMP team again for a one month Classics (international) subscription, choosing the Sonny Rollins record to start, then order the 2 JLH and select them to be bundled with ROTM shipment. However, I'd terminate my subscription again after they sent out Rollins. Would I still get the free shipping on the JLH records, when they are being released in December or later? Or would I need to select the "ship when available" option on ordering the JLH records?
And generally, those 2 JLH will be pressed at MRP, I didn't hear to many good things on that, also on reading the last few pages here. Would it be worth the risk?
I also thought of selecting a 3month or even 6month subscription again, but besides Rollins and JLH there is nothing in the store right now that is of interest to me, and also the Essentials/Classics/R&HH picks for the next 3 months are not appealing to me. So I definitely won't go for that...

Again, im not 100% sure as I have not been in the position you describe.

Best option. Join international for one month on essentials. Swap it for credit. Add Rollins as an add on at $33. Use your credit for the 2 JLH. Would save you a few quid.

And as of this morning a certain flipper was sitting on 17 copies on Amazon. At the moment anyways, Rollins is NOT available as a swaption
Anyone know what the deal is with this? A response I got from VMP regarding several orders I have that are in-stock but haven't shipped for weeks:

So if they have a store drop with 4 albums, you should order them all individually so they actually ship to you? Also absolutely no offer of just separating the order so the stuff that is in-stock will ship instead of having to wait a month for no reason.
I know that some people have already gotten some of these records in the orders as well (Margo Guryan, James Booker, Jonathan Richman) so has anyone else run into this issue? This is really stupid.
