At least pub food isnāt as bad as pre-work, post-workout, protein shake powder kinda drinks! I hate that fake artificial crap!
Some pubs do have amazing food, itās just that majority donāt! But Iām not a pub guy overall. Definitely not my thing!
When I think of pubs, I think of that beer-drinking Simpsons character thats always at the pub, thatās why I mentioned it. Like that Simpson character would enjoy Jim Sullivanās U.F.O. because heās such a manās man lol

I finally got my Yusef Lateef last night and after two listens I can only say that I love it. My SO was also impressed, and she was an entirely blind listen. It's easy to give VMP shit (which I do) but they do occasionally pull off a gem.
I still don't get why VMP relies on reddit instead of sending out emails when shit is for sale.
That is one of the many things that has pissed me off about them...and why I have missed out of a few records in the last month.

The best pubs arenāt about food, theyāre not even entirely about beer, although lots are and do both things very well. The best pubs are about being a space that brings their community together to socialise.
