I was surprised to see her and no Merle at first, for sure! Then had an eye roll chuckle when he got a separate notice 30 minutes later. I hope Ashby makes her way to the rest of you soon. (And she may yet arrive sooner for some of you, as i5 usually takes about 3 weeks from notice to my place.)

I went for the Hubbard with some store credits, holding back on the Ella as decent first pressings look available and I actually culled a lot of her albums from my collection last year.

Nobody loves Ella more than I do, but this record is downright cringe inducing. Akin to Sinatra singing Mrs. Robinson.
