BUT, since we are here. Boston Ferns are a pain to try and keep alive.They are liking nothing I'm doing

Anyone have any experience with carnivorous plants - specifically venus flytraps - and growing them indoors? Been thinking about putting one in my house. I've heard a decorative glass terrarium is NOT the way to go but they look so cool.
