Looking to purchase a Vintage Marantz receiver and need suggestions.....

That's terrific! That unit is stunning, and two phono inputs? Wow!

I also recently upgraded to a vintage amp, replacing a NAD C316bee with a minty old Concept 6.5 receiver my dad bought back in 1978. And like you, I have a pair of Denton 80s. Although I liked the NAD, the Concept adds warmth and depth that just makes those speakers sing. I feel like a kid again, dropping the needle on ELO's Out of the Blue (from my dad's old collection) and blissing out.

I totally get it. Last night I listened to Tony Scott, then I just kept throwing on different albums just to hear how much fuller and rich they sounded. Listened to Times are a changin, Coltrane’s Om, etc. stayed up until 5:30am.
