Definitive Audiophile pressings

Thank you. Grabbed Doors and LA Woman. $15 shipping is no fun but the discount really helps overall. Much appreciated. Been listening to The Doors since college in the 80s but never owned any on vinyl bc I resisted all the AP releases bc 45rpm, so looking forward to having some.
Does anyone else have a code for the Doors site they want to share? I've had a cart with a few of the Rhino Hi-Fis ready for the last two days with the two codes posted. I was close to pulling the trigger on, but I hesitated and the codes no longer work--they really are onetime-use only.

Never mind. I'm good. Found one on Hoffman. I guess the site's good for something afterall.

But maybe someone else could use it if you have one!

You are going to be thrilled with the purchase.
Which albums did you grab?
LA Woman, Morrison Hotel and The Soft Parade. I got a shipping notification this morning, there's a chance I'll be enjoying these this weekend! Quick turnaround to say the least.

I fucking love The Soft Parade and I will go down with that ship. That was going to be the only thing I bought but....with payday on Friday. meh.

thanks! knew about their ebay pages but didn't know the store name!
I have been looking at buying Peter Gabriel's Passion on vinyl. Anyone know if this is a good print of the ST:

I am not familiar with this shop you posted, but I assume based on the name and the postings themselves these are all good quality records? Thanks.

That one is excellent. Classic records tends to have nice reissues although they did have some misses and quality control in their later years.

Nice. Thanks so much. That's great to hear on this, as it's on my list. That list seems to be getting longer daily. Not sure if anyone else has that problem around here. :)

Was just reading about the Clarity Vinyl history. Sounds like that's not a gimmick and is the real deal then? Thanks.

Clarity vinyl is fine. I don’t go out of my way to buy it really though.

Not everything on that high fidelity site is great though. It’s all a mixed bag. It’s just a record store that sells tons of stuff.

No sorry. I do have an early pressing. (US Monarch’71). I know that one well. Blows Monarch away from an audiophile perspective. I listened to it awhile ago getting ready for this pressing however I didn’t do a real comparison tonight. But, FWIW I’ll bet the AAA Bellman is very close.

I saw a random YouTube video where they compared the two but it doesn’t look like I was smart enough to save it and I didn’t know the reviewer. You might try searching for it.

This new pressing is without question an excellent record on all fronts.

Re: David Crosby "If I Could Only Remember My Name"

Anyone able to tell me how the AP compares to the Mofi & 50th anniversary? Doesn't seem to be a consensus across Discogs reviews

I have the Classic Records pressing (I am fairly certain that AP acquired and used their plates) and it sounds fantastic to me. I haven’t heard the Actual AP or MoFi though for comparison though I doubt it could sound all that much better.
